Help Enrich Seniors’ Lives!
Nursing homes in the Virginia Beach area are seeking volunteers to help brighten the lives of their residents. Our country was built on the backs of these men and women. As Christians, God calls us to honor them for their contributions. There are several volunteer opportunities in the Hampton Roads area to give back!
Opportunities at Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a local nursing home, welcomes volunteers of all ages, including individuals, youth (with adult supervision for those under 14), community groups, and pet owners with well-behaved animals. Volunteers can engage with residents in various ways, such as reading, arts and crafts, playing games, giving manicures, or planning social events. The facility is also looking for entertainers, including musicians, singers, actors, and dancers.
