Regent University Color Run!

Regent’s starting the school year, getting whipped into shape with a dash of color.

One of latest crazes of the past few years have been running marathons. Some marathons are traditional and others add a little spice of fun. One of the most popular marathons is the Color Run. The Color Run was founded in March 2011 as an event to promote healthiness and happiness by bringing the community together to participate in the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”. The Color Run is the original paint race and have created a completely new genre of running events that continues to grow exponentially.  Saturday, September 12th the students of Regent University decided to join in on the action.

Around two hundred students gathered last Saturday to get in some cardio and get covered with paint with their friends. Saturday was a warm morning but the weather could not stop the students from making memories on the field. The response was very warm at this event, and students hope for another one to happen on campus soon!
