“One thing I learned from living overseas is that, in America, everything is so busy. Everyone is always on the go, and nobody really stops to appreciate the little things. Like when I lived in Italy, everyone was so relaxed and actually took the time to get to know the people in their community. Even in Asia, though they’re notoriously busy people, they knew how to take the time to stop and appreciate the world around them. In America you don’t really find that. Everybody here is often too concerned with their own lives to ask somebody how they are and actually listen to the answer. Regent is different, though. I do feel a sense of community here.”
