Baker’s Crust

Located just 10 minutes from Regent in Greenbriar, Baker’s Crust is perfect for a classic, romantic night out. Individual meals range in price from $9-$20, or you could have something to share for $25-$35, making this spot great for the budget conscious. The Bee and the Biscuit

If your date has evening classes, or you just want to start celebrating with your Valentine earlier in the day, check out the Bee and the Biscuit! This Regent favorite is located in Pungo, a 20-minute drive from campus. They serve brunch and lunch favorites, including homemade buttermilk biscuits, omelets, french toast and healthy and delicious wraps. The Bee and the Biscuit is open from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Valentine’s Day, and while they do not take reservations, they usually do not have much of a wait during the winter months. If there is a wait, they have a beautiful seating area with a drink stand serving everything from honey lavender lattes to mimosas. If you go, make sure to share one of their giant cinnamon rolls with your date!

Esoteric 

If you and your date are looking for something unique and fun, Esoteric might be the place for you. Housed in a historic 1920s building, Esoteric has a large garden area where they grow most of the food for their restaurants during the summer months. The thoughtful atmosphere and delicious dishes will make a Valentine’s night to remember! Because everything is fresh and handmade, Esoteric is on the pricier end of this list, with meals ranging from $15 to $30, but has plenty of reasonable options. They are open until 9:00 PM on Valentine’s, and you can make a reservation over the phone.
