People of Regent: Noah Walker

“I’ve been painting and drawing basically all of my life, but when I got to Christian school, that’s when I really found out that I had a lot of skills and talents. I had just always been doodling and drawing little characters and stuff like that. I went to Heritage Christian School in Woodbridge, VA, and I loved it there. I had this art teacher named Mrs. Patty, and she pushed my to do some crazy things, and this was one of them. I was able to win [AACS] after three years of trying. [With] art, you can express different ideas, and with my art I always try to do my best with expressing God in all of my pieces. Even with cartoons that I want to make – because I’m an animation student here at Regent – I want to make my cartoons about God and a journey with God. This picture that I have right here is called “His Children” in reference to that we all are God’s children, and I just wanted to reflect that in my piece.”
