“We have purchased the set of the app, and we have branded it for Regent,” said Director of Career Services Saranette Williams. “We have our own career app that is co-branded with a company called Symplicity.”

The free app is called Careers, and the picture is an orange hot air balloon with briefcase as the basket.

“It’s really cool,” said Williams. “You get to go to the mobile app, and it tells you the events we’re having.”

After downloading the app, students can log in using their MyRegent username (Ex: Doroslo) and their MyRegent password.

If it says that the student is not in the system, email the office at careerservicessvcs@mail.regent.edu and ask questions so they can “repopulate” the system with the new students, according to Williams.

The app will ask students to clarify information such as their current level of education, specific school, class year, major and degree level.

Users can find jobs, follow employers and much more using the app. If any troubles occur, Career Services staff is available to help students in SC 235.
