The Long-Awaited iPad Pro Confirmed
Apple has finally confirmed a November release of the rumored, large iPad Pro.
The hallmark device will have a 12.9-inch screen, the biggest of any iOS device yet. The screen will have a gorgeous resolution of 2732 x 2048; a total of about 5.6 million pixels. New variable refresh rate futures allow for much better power conservation and versatility.
The iPad Pro boasts incredible insides as well. It has a A9X 64-bit chip, which has double the memory and storage of pervious iPad’s A8X. Apply claims that the tablet’s CPU capabilities surpass 80% of laptops out there, and its graphical power is better than 90% of those same PCs.
Translation: It runs fast and looks beautiful.
The incredible device has four speakers, but still retains the slim structure of 6.9mm thick. It’s only 1.5lbs, about the same weight as the original iPad, which was much smaller in surface area. Yet again, Apple amazes us with their ability to fit something power into something compact.
Apple also showed off new accessories for the iPad Pro, including a smart stylus, keyboard, and new cases.
Here are the listed prices:
- iPad Pro 32GB with wifi: $799
- iPad Pro 128GB with wifi: $949
- iPad Pro 128GB with wifi and cellular: $1079
- Apple Pencil: $99
- The Smart Keyboard: $169
