Pourfavor Coffee Shop Review

If you’re anything like me, you love independent coffee shops. The atmosphere, specialty coffees, homemade treats, and family-like environment always entices me to stay until closing.

Pourfavor offers just that! It’s less than ten minutes from the Regent University campus. The first time I went I ordered a plain iced tea. You can get any of their hot teas over ice. When I visited a second time, my friend and I shared the Fall Coffee Flight. The Flight is $15 and comes with four small cups of four different fall specialty drinks which includes the classic pumpkin spice latte, marshmallow cold brew, toffee nut latte, and hazelnut latte. There was enough coffee for both of us, so the $15 was well-worth it. I enjoy Pourfavor’s lattes because although they are flavored, they aren’t overly sweet. If I go to a chain coffee shop like Starbucks, I normally have to get my drinks with half the amount of pumps of sugar.

The Toffee Nut Latte was my favorite of the four beverages because it had a lovely balance between having a sweet taste and a more tart coffee taste. It was not overpowering and had a distinct toffee flavor. Pourfavor also has delicious homemade treats such as tres leches cake and a variety of pastries. Not only do they have desserts, but the shop also has lunch and breakfast items. One of my favorite features in this coffee shop is the board and card games! I love when small, sit-down shops provide games for the patrons. There are also ample studying spots with comfy chairs, tables, and even an outdoor picnic table.

Overall, Pourfavor is a wonderful coffee shop to stop by with friends and chat, or even do your homework! You can check out Pourfavor’s website here, or their Facebook here to see more of their coffees and treats.
