Fall is a great time to wrap up in a warm blanket and read a good book, but it is also an equally good time to check out some great events happening on campus and in the Virginia Beach area! Gather your friends, pick up a Pumpkin Spice Latte, and make some memories before it gets too cold!
1. Go to a Pumpkin Patch
Find your favorite pumpkin at the pumpkin patch at Greenbrier Farms. It’s only $12 to pick your own pumpkin. There’s also a free hayride that takes you to the patch. The pumpkin patch is open every Saturday and Sunday in October from 9am to 6pm.
2. Farmer’s Market
Everyone loves a good cup of hot, comforting soup on a cold day, or some roasted carrots to go with that chicken in the crockpot. To get started, grab some vegetables for homemade soup at Cullipher Farm Market located on Princess Anne Road, open from 9am – 6pm seven days a week.
3. Regent Harvest Fest
Check out Regent’s Harvest Fest on October 7th at 4pm at the Ordinary Woods. There will be food, games, and friends there!
