Rebecca St. James Speaks Truth in ‘Sarah’s Choice’

Christian recording artist, Rebecca St. James, has done what many only hope to accomplish – successfully make the jump from singer to actor. Rebecca is currently on the road promoting her new inspirational film “Sarah’s Choice.” While trekking across the county, Rebecca stopped at Regent University to chat with us about fear, faith and the journey of life.
“In your art, I encourage you to bring humanity and heart to the table, which is what people will connect with,” Rebecca said.
“Be strong enough to be vulnerable.”
“Sarah’s Choice” centers around a career woman (played by Rebecca St. James) who is climbing the corporate ladder, only to suddenly find herself pregnant, with no wedding band on her finger. Ultimately, Sarah struggles with the choice she must now face – keep her baby, or have an abortion. While wrestling with her decision, Sarah has a series of dreams. She begins to get glimpses of what her life will be like if she keeps her child.
Beautiful face, beautiful accent, beautiful soul. What is so striking about Rebecca St. James is her uncompromising boldness and her pleasantly authentic soul. There is no act with her, no facade – Rebecca is 100% genuine. It is so refreshing to see someone in the entertainment industry be successful, while still retaining who they are. And though she talked about her own fear in playing this challenging role – I did not see any fear within her.
Rebecca sat down with me to talk about her new film, “Sarah’s Choice.” And I have to be honest with you, Rebecca is one of the most authentic, pleasant and inspiring people I have ever met.
