Haitian Revival

Last year, the people of Haiti celebrated Kanaval, a.k.a. Mardi Gras. They decorated bicycles, motorcycles, horses and donkeys. They made Indian, African and Zombie masks and danced to carnival music around parade floats. For 3 days, they celebrated music, nature, history and religion, indulging in food, drink and temptation.
January 12, 2010, changed all that.

On March 30 at 9 p.m. EST, Jesus will have a new face. Yep. A special 2-hour event duly titled “The Real Face of Jesus” will premiere this Tuesday on the History Channel. It promises to “bring the world as close as it has ever come to seeing what Jesus may have actually looked like.”
